ABILITY CAMP ALABAMA | SPRING 2026

February 27 - March 1, 2026

Camp ASCCA | Jackson's Gap, AL

Ability Camps are national service projects that provide both funding and volunteer support to build and renovate facilities that serve the disability community. Members of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity from universities across the country come together to construct accessible features such as fishing piers, boardwalks, pavilions, playgrounds, and more. These projects aim to highlight the abilities of people with disabilities while creating lasting bonds of brotherhood.

No matter the size of the project, the impact is meaningful—it goes a long way in supporting and empowering the disability community.

Weekend Overview

Participants will arrive on Friday between 6:30pm-7:30pm for check-in with the event beginning at 7:30pm. Work begins Saturday and continues through the weekend, with various construction and renovation projects. When possible, participants may also have the opportunity to interact with campers (note: camper interaction is not guaranteed at every camp). The weekend concludes with departure around 12:00 PM on Sunday.

All meals and lodging are provided by the camp and The Ability Experience.

This is a FREE event for all members of Pi Kappa Phi—including undergraduates, associate members, and alumni!

Ability Camps are alcohol-free and drug-free experiences. Any participant in possession of either on camp property will be dismissed immediately.
