Help Me Gear Up for New York!
Hi everyone! From July 18th to August 2nd, I will be biking on Gear Up New York with The Ability Experience, the national philanthropy of Pi Kappa Phi. I’ll spend 16 days biking across the state of New York.
This ride is about much more than miles. Along the way, our team will stop at organizations that serve people with disabilities to spend time together, share meals, play games, and build real friendships. The goal is to shift the focus from what someone can’t do to what everyone can do, and to show that people of all abilities belong and deserve to be included.
This matters to me because I have been personal impacted through working with a group of kids with disabilities while serving on summer staff at a Clearwater Cove a Younglife summer camp.
Every rider commits to a fundraising goal, and mine is $8,000. Your donation helps fund grants, accessibility projects, and programs that support people with disabilities and their communities. Any amount makes a difference, whether it’s $10 or $100, and sharing this page helps too!
