Our Chapter is dedicated to supporting people with disabilities through The Ability Experience and we need your help! Funds raised help provide service and leadership opportunities which make a positive impact for people and communities across the country. They allow events like Ability Camps to happen, where we have opportunities to volunteer at camps that support people with disabilities and fund construction and other projects through grants that make them more accessible. Our fundraising can also impact our local community through Circle of Giving grants provided to local partnerships that support people with disabilities.
Want to help? Support by making a donation right now on behalf of our chapter. The Ability Experience is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations are tax-deductable. The process is fast, easy, and secure.
Our Buddy Partner!
Our chapter has partnered with the Autism Society as our buddy partner through the Ability Experience. This partnership allowed us to focus on building genuine friendships through consistent and meaningful interactions.
One of the most impactful parts of this experience was our friendship visits. Throughout the semester, we spent time playing basketball, celebrating Halloween and Christmas together, and singing karaoke. Each visit created opportunities for inclusion, confidence, and connection in a welcoming environment.
These moments reflect the mission of the Ability Experience by emphasizing friendship, inclusion, and shared experiences.
