My Journey of Hope!
Pi Kappa Phi is a very unique fraternity because we have our very own Philanthropy called the Ability Experience. This summer, I am dedicating my time to serving others on one of The Ability Experience's cycling events called Journey of Hope. I will be joining a team of 50+ motivated Pi Kappa Phi's, that will cycle across the country to spread our message of empathy and acceptance for our friends with disabilities! Our journey starts on the Golden Gate bridge, and it will end in Washington D.C. We will be stopping in dozens of cities across the Northern United States and meet with a variety of organizations that support people with disabilities along the way.
I am currently a senior at Michigan State University, pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. I will be embarking on the Journey of Hope with my brother Jack, who is representing the Eta Tau chapter at the University of Kentucky. Together, we are continuing the legacy of our father Mike, who completed the Journey in 1997 as a Beta Xi member from Central Michigan University.
