My Journey of Hope!

This summer, I am dedicating my time to serving others on one of The Ability Experience’s cycling events, Journey of Hope. I’ll be traveling across the country to spread a message of empathy and acceptance for people with disabilities and meeting organizations that support these communities along the way.

As a Hospitality Management major, Marriott International associate, Red Bull Student Marketeer, and Philanthropy Chairman for my chapter, service and inclusion are at the core of everything I do. Experiences like volunteering with AbilityFirst have shown me how powerful this mission truly is.

Journey to Philanthropy | My Story

Since joining the Iota Iota Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi in fall 2023, I have found a purpose for myself through service and leadership. What started as an interest has turned into a commitment to give back and contribute to something bigger than myself.
Over the past three years, I have held various leadership roles within the organization, including Risk Management Chairman, Vice Archon, Archon, and, currently, Philanthropy Chairman. Each of these experiences has helped me grow personally and develop my passion for intentional leadership.
Service and Servant Leadership have always been important to me, and Pi Kappa Phi's mission to advocate for people with disabilities is perfectly aligned with my own beliefs. Being involved in Ability Camps, The Ability Cycling Experience (ACE), and our philanthropy week, 'War of the Roses,' has allowed me to meet some amazing people and witness the true impact that we can make working together.
I hope to encourage our members to lead with empathy and use their leadership position to create lasting positive change in their communities, just as I do in my role as Philanthropy Chairman. I would love the opportunity to continue this journey and help make a positive difference in the world.
