My Gear Up New York Journey!
This summer, I am dedicating my time to serving others on one of The Ability Experience's cycling events called Gear Up New York. I will be joining a team that will travel across the Empire State from Niagara Falls to Manhattan in order to spread our message of empathy and acceptance for our friends with disabilities! We will meet with dozens of organizations that support people with disabilities along the way.

My Reason for Joining the Crew
Monday 29th DecGear Up New York represents everything I believe Pi Kappa Phi stands for: service, inclusion, and leadership rooted in empathy. This journey will take our team 560 miles from Buffalo to New York City, but the real distance we are traveling is toward greater understanding, connection, and impact. Along the route, we will visit disability service organizations, engage with local communities, and amplify a message that defines The Ability Experience.
This ride is not about individual achievement. It is a moving platform for advocacy—one that allows us to learn directly from the people and organizations we serve. Every stop along the way is an opportunity to listen, to build relationships, and to celebrate the strengths and abilities that are too often overlooked.
While the physical challenge is real, it exists to serve something far greater. I have a strong passion for physical exercise and endurance, and biking allows me to channel that passion into meaningful action. Each mile ridden becomes a statement of support for individuals with disabilities and the organizations that empower them.
