My Upcoming Summer!

Hello everyone! I am Mitchell Canupp, and this summer I am dedicating my time to serving others on one of The Ability Experience's cycling events called Gear Up New York!

I will be traveling (cycling) across New York as part of the Gear Up New York team! Together, we will spread our message of empathy and acceptance across the Empire State as we meet with organizations that support people with disabilities along the way.

Since I was a young man I have always wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself, and I believe that the Ability Experience is the perfect thing. As a young man, I had the pleasure of being around my cousin, Riley, who has Cerebral Palsy. To me, he was the coolest, sweetest, most joyful person I have ever met. The joy he shared is unlike no other I had ever seen. 

As I joined Pi Kappa Phi, I learned about the Ability Experience, and I knew this was the place for me. As a new member, I had the opportunity to partner with groups such as Connectability and Best Buddies. All of these experiences have continued to grow my love for my community, the Ability Experience, and this fraternity in general.

Please support me as I raise money for our Philanthropy, which supports those with disabilities! My goal is to raise $4,500 by July 2026, help me make this possible and support our cause!
