Doing Good, One Mile at a Time - My Journey of Hope!
Thank you for supporting my Journey of Hope fundraising page and for believing in the mission of The Ability Experience. Your generosity directly supports programs that promote inclusion, empowerment, and opportunity for people with disabilities—and I am deeply grateful to have you alongside me in this effort.
I’ve always believed that the gifts we’re given in life carry a responsibility to serve others. For me, philanthropy isn’t about charity—it’s about community. It’s about using my time, energy, and abilities to stand with people and communities who are too often overlooked. The outdoors, shared challenge, and brotherhood have always been places where I’ve found connection, and Journey of Hope brings all of those together in service of something far greater than myself.
One of the reasons I chose to join Pi Kappa Phi was its commitment to Ability Experience and hands-on service. As the only national fraternity to establish and maintain its own nonprofit, Pi Kappa Phi sets a powerful standard for leadership rooted in action. Journey of Hope embodies that mission by turning miles into meaning and endurance into advocacy.
Growing up, many of my closest friends were neurodivergent, and I never saw them as anything other than friends. More recently, discovering my own ADHD gave me a deeper sense of empathy and perspective—an understanding that challenges often go unseen, and support can change everything. It reminded me how meaningful it is to know that someone is fighting at your back.
This summer, I ride to learn about sacrifice, integrity, and service. Every mile is a commitment to celebrating ability, breaking down barriers, and building a more inclusive world. Thank you for being part of that journey with me.
