My Journey of Hope!
Monday 12th JanHi! I'm Oscar and thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!
I come from the Alpha Tau chapter of Pi Kappa Phi at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. This year I was appointed to the risk management chair and I'm excited to be on the executive board! Ever since my associate member education process where I learned about the Journey of Hope, I've been eager to be a part of it and now that I have my own fundraising page and I'm going to be biking this summer I'm more excited than ever! The thought of being able to go on this amazing trip and spread kindness and joy across the nation is really exciting. which is why im asking for your support my ambition with a small donation, anything counts!
Now some more about me, I grew up in Westchester NY and went to John Jay High School in Cross River. I'm a big outdoor enthusiast and I love to hike, fish, camp, and rock climb. As a kid, I attended Teatown summer camp in Ossining, NY, where I developed a love for the outdoors. In recent years, I returned as a counselor, teaching younger kids about nature and how to respect it. Since I decided I wanted to join JOH I got into biking and running more and I’m always challenging myself to prepare for the trip.
