Last summer, I completed Gear Up Florida (another Ability Experience event). That 2 week journey was the single greatest experience of my entire life, touching hearts and souls all around Florida, mine included. That event set me upon a greater path…

This summer, I am dedicating my time to serving others during The Ability Experience's cycling event Journey of Hope. My team of Pikapp brothers and I will cycle across the entire United States of America, from west coast to east coast, in order to spread our message of empathy and acceptance for our friends with disabilities! We will meet with dozens of organizations that support people with disabilities along the way, giving grants and sharing smiles with them.

Thoughts before the road.

Sunday 31st May
As I finish up orientation in Seattle over these next 2 days, I've been pondering over this entire experience. I feel immensely blessed to be supported by all of you, my incredible donors. Y'all have made it possible for me to be standing where I am today, gearing up to cross our beautiful country and be a light in the lives of so many people from varying communities across our nation. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support. Your contributions will go further than you may ever know, so take pride in the fact that all of you are apart of something great. Something bigger than yourselves, something bigger than my journey this summer, y'all are apart of a nearly three decade long mission to support those who are given less and to build servant leaders in this nation's youth. A mission that not only lightens the present, but shapes the future of this world as each man carries their experience with them for the rest of their days. 

I am more than excited to begin this upcoming Wednesday, kicking off from the Space Needle around 7am PT. You can watch the kickoff livestream (as well as every subsequent day's livestream) on The Ability Experience's FaceBook page, the link will be at the bottom. You are also able to watch the livestream after it's happened as each one is posted.

Again, thank you to all who have supported me from behind the scenes. Though you may not be physically present with me, I will carry you all with me in my heart throughout this great journey. I'll continue to provide updates throughout the trip.
