My Journey of Hope!
My name is Aidan Chow. I'm a second year political science major and I am stoked to be spending my summer raising awareness for people with disabilities. Here's my story:
People will ask you why you joined a fraternity and the answer you will get 9 times out of 10 is brotherhood. That would be my answer too. But what sold me on Pi Kappa Phi besides the brothers, was the Ability Expirence and Journey of Hope. Within my major, I believe my life's purpose is to help people live a better life. I want to be the reason someone wakes up and says today is going to be a good day, because of the actions I took.
My mom is an occupational therapist and the best way I like to describe her job is she helps people walk again and use their limbs after an accident. I've been around the talk all my life. To me this philanthropy and it's mission closely aligns with my values of empathy and dignity. And I am privilleged to be able to share the ideals with the brothers of my chapter and represent them on this ride.
I hope to make a difference within someone's life and your donation would mean a lot to helping me achieve and fulfill my life purpose of serving others. Thank you in advance for any amount you choose to give and I hope you follow along.
