Journey of Hope 2026

Hey! My name is Kaleb and I am a Construction Management major at the University of Washington. This summer, I am dedicating my time to serving others on one of The Ability Experience's cycling events called Journey of Hope. I will be joining a team that will travel across the country in order to spread our message of empathy and acceptance for our friends with disabilities! We will meet with dozens of organizations that support people with disabilities along the way.

Throughout my life, I have had many experiences meeting and learning alongside people with disabilities in Unified classes, sports, and leadership. From this I have learned so much about empathy, patience, and the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels valued and included. One of my favorite events that I have participated in was a hometown rivalry Unified basketball game where encouragement of both teams were at the forefront.
