In 2023 my roommate and I signed up to participate in the Journey of Hope as Cyclists on the Trans America route. This year, I have decided to participate again, but this time as a crew member.
My first Journey of Hope was a life-changing experience, and challenged me both physically and mentally. I got to meet some incredible people in the team and at friendship visits, and to see parts of the country I had never seen before, all while raising money for a great cause.
One of the highlights of my trip was the incredible crew, they were essential to our success, and that is why I've decided to become a crew member for 2026. I am thankful to have been given the opportunity to return and cannot wait to see what experiences this summer will bring.
ODH,
Matt
