My Gear Up New York Journey!
Two years ago, I had the privilege of participating in Journey of Hope where I cycled cross country over 4,000 miles across the country from Seattle to D.C to support inclusion and accessibility for people with disabilities. Throughout the journey, we partnered with disability service organizations, volunteered in communities nationwide, and built meaningful relationships that left a lasting impact on me both personally and professionally.
That experience shaped my understanding of servant leadership and strengthened my commitment to continuing this mission. This summer, I will be cycling the state of New York for the Gear Up New York team. I am proud to pursue becoming a two-time Pi Alpha while continuing to advocate for inclusion and accessibility.
