ABILITY CAMP HONDURAS
May 9–16, 2026
Comayagua, Honduras
Hogar Nazareth – Casa Misericordia Mujeres
Ability Camp Honduras 2026 is a one-of-a-kind international service experience rooted in brotherhood, faith, and lasting impact. Fifteen Pi Kappa Phi brothers will travel to Comayagua, Honduras to construct a medical clinic and nursing station at Hogar Nazareth's Casa Misericordia Mujeres — a home serving over 80 women and their families living with disabilities.
This project was made possible through a personal invitation from Fr. Justin Alarcon, a Pi Kappa Phi brother from Gamma Chapter (UC Berkeley) who became a Franciscan friar in Honduras and has dedicated his life to this community. When he called on his brothers to serve, we answered.
Participants will work alongside professional local contractors during the week of May 9–16, 2026, contributing to concrete work, block placement, plastering, and painting — building something that will serve this community for generations.
Participants will depart on Friday, May 9, 2026, and return on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The week includes orientation, guided cultural experiences, full days of construction work at the project site, and structured nightly reflections.
All meals are prepared by local cooks on-site.
Lodging is provided at Casa Guadalupe, a Franciscan friary in Comayagua.
Transportation within Honduras is provided by Hogar Nazareth vehicles.
This trip is open to all members of Pi Kappa Phi — undergraduates, associate members, and alumni.
Ability Camps are alcohol-free and drug-free experiences. Any participant in possession of either will be dismissed immediately.
