The Ability Experience is personal to me because I've experienced first hand how a developmental disability can shape both the challenges and the strengths within a family. My little cousin, Julian, was diagnosed with autism at a young age, and watching him take on physical and social set-backs with a positive attitude and a smile on his face is truly inspiring. Being different can be challenging, but it's people like Julian, who embrace their individuality and explore their passions anyways, that make being different AWESOME!!
It's organizations like The Ability Experience, who create more inclusive opportunities so individuals of all abilities can grow and thrive, that really make an impact and change the world for the better.
