Gear Up New York 2026

My Gear Up New York Journey!

This summer, I am dedicating my time to serving others on one of The Ability Experience's cycling events called Gear Up New York. I will be joining a team that will travel across the Empire State from Niagara Falls to Manhattan in order to spread our message of empathy and acceptance for our friends with disabilities! We will meet with dozens of organizations that support people with disabilities along the way.

Hello, my name is Zakaria Abazine I had the privilege of experiencing the first Gear Up New York last summer and the effect it had upon myself as well as the people around me was profound. To date it is by far one of if not the proudest single thing that I've stood for and represented, this year I'm going back to volunteer once again and this time alongside a couple of my own chapters' members.
